Thought of changing the outlook of my blog and this picture came into my mind. Was in Sikkim with JH and YK when Sikkimese had their first ever international flower competition.

Saw many funny looking flowers especially these ones:



At first I thought those were Willy Wonka's edible flower. It does look like candy.

KUALA LUMPUR: Remind doctors to keep their hands clean. That is what Health Ministry deputy director-general (medical) Datuk Dr Noorimi Morad wants nurses to do to ensure that patients do not get infected while in hospital.

"Nurses are better in complying than doctors. We have to persist in increasing awareness," she told The Star yesterday after opening the 3rd International Congress of the Asia-Pacific Society of Infection Control."

It is not that they do not want to do it, but they might forget when they are very busy. So, the nurses must be around to remind the doctors.


i wonder if it's too much to ask the lecturer to remind us to wash our hands during clinical skills exams... or maybe asisting us to perform the skills too...

not forgetting wiping away our cold sweat just like how a nurse wipe away the sweat on the forehead of the doctors.
