unforgettable Christmas

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
'Round yon virgin mother and Child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night,
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heav'nly hosts sing Alleluia;
Christ the Saviour is born
Christ the Saviour is born

Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love's pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth

With all the disappointment, confusion, broken promises and heartache, I was so scare to look back, reflect and move on. I neither wanna speak out my problems and solve it (cause nobody wants to anyway) nor I wanna move on.

I thought "die lo!" how can I carry all my 2008 burdens into 2009?!

But never knew that God can use simple things to remind me that He is bigger that any problems that I'm facing.

One thing that Wilkins told me helped me hit some sense in me. One thing that keeps people from moving on is dwelling in the past. If you keep looking at the past, you'll reflect on the good things that has happened, things that you treasure. Then it will add more to the bitterness you feel when you think about what went wrong.
The best way is to stop thinking about what was behind no matter how sweet the memory was and think about the future, what should be the focus and what should be done.

Word of wisdom huh?! but many a times, wisdom is very hard to put into action. Maybe because I'm dumb la.

God strengthened me again to put down the past and to move on, to LOVE HIM more.

Was in Auntie Sow Kuen's house just now for a Christmas Eve party and when the carols are being sung, God's love just flow through my heart and all I could say at that moment was "I LOVE YOU, GOD"

I know for sure, this is not just an ordinary Christmas for me. He showed me greater things that I couldn't see.

unforgettable Christmas...
