fun-ness!

today is the day of fun-ness. because it's the day after April Fool.

no no. nothing to do with April Fool. not that i did anything yesterday other than calling my mom and told my aunty that i was back in Malaysia and waiting for them in KLIA.

and of course... she believed

still my mom is the smartest. she told my aunty that it's April Fool.

then only my aunty told me that they are on the way to KLIA to fetch me.

erm... kinda slow.

but seriously miss them alot. used to think that all my aunties are quite noisy when they gather together. well, who doesn't know that all my aunties are women. and who doesn't know that when women gather, they can rock the world.

told my mom that i've gotten my web cam (wee-ness!) and it cost around RM120.
then she gave me the "huh?" and asked why is it so cheap.
so i made myself clearer saying that i've gotten my WEB CAM.

all this while she thought that i'm getting a video cam.

(*sigh) mom... mom...

ok, come back to the fun-ness day

today's the commencement of our second year. somehow all the lecturers were programmed to say the same thing "congratulations for passing first year" as their first sentence and then go on with their lecture.

after the introduction on pharmacology, pathology and microbiology, could see that second year is much more medical than first year because we're gonna learn things that we're gonna practice next time. unlike studying anatomy in detail and forget every thing right away in the exam hall after answering all the questions, second year has more application than theory which is important in the future. but of course, we need some first year foundation to study second year.

another wee-ness is that our classes starts at 9am till 4pm, and sometimes 3pm. cool-ness!

went to Lester's house to check out the books that we need to buy for second year. on the way there, the thing that all the Manipal-ites are "proud" of happened - power cut.

was passing by Nehru Hostel's generator and got so amazed by it. it made some i'm-gonna-generate-electric sound, then some smoke came out and the whole hostel got light up. (jakun-ness)

reached Lester's house and found out that his inverter was not working. in Manipal you need to spend a bomb on the thing known as inverter together with the battery to generate eletricity in case of power cut. so Lester's house was totally black out.

what's great is that Manipal has set a rule to have power cut everyday at around 8pm. that's why i said it's something they're "proud" of.

according to pastor, it is because now Indian secondary schools are having majors exams. and remember the thing called inverter? those inverter company having the i'm-sure-every-home-will-need-an-inverter mindset to bribe the "TNB" in India to have some power cut so that they can earn more bomb (did i said that an inverter will cost a bomb?)

according to Dr Jonathan, it is due to summer and the electricity demand is high because everybody uses AC and all the fans are spinning in speed of light. moreover the river is quite dried up for hydroelectric. that's why they need to cut off the power supply to save... dunno save who. imagine KMC hospital having regular power cut.

according to me, i think it's because the inverter companies bribe the electricity supply company during this exam period so that they may earn more money by selling more inverter. on top of that, the weather here is so hot that electric demand is high and the river is dried up for hydroelectric.

ok ok. i know it's crap. but seriously, the power cut really annoys me and the whole world except for the inverter company.

next time should contaminate the water here so that there won't be any distill water available for inverters to function.

so the power cut will annoy the whole wide world including the inverter companies.
