Welcome in

one of the first things that they told us during our orientation in Melaka before coming over to Manipal is "DO NOT shift out! stay in the hostel la la la so that you will la la la and la la la"

ok, the whole idea is that we HAVE to stay in the hostel so that we can prove to the world that our parents are rich enough to pay so much for the hostel (a proper and comfortable hostel in INDIA) and they also want to prove to the world how rich they are by earning our parents money.

my mom is not rich, and i think there's no point paying so much for Manipal hostel, i decided to shift out instead.

one of the reason they PLEADED us to stay in the hostel is because they claimed that they can give us security.

and one of the reasons why i shifted out is because i've seen burglary case, i've heard of stories about robbery in the hostel. and the warden even cut open the lock to accomodate more students during vacation bacause they don't have enough rooms to accomodate all the students.

so, that's a pretty good reason for me to shift out instead of paying for their SECURITY.

another reason, probably not so a valid one but who doesn't want to be free from curfew?!
