Malaysia - Truly Asia

we were having lecture on pharmacokinetics. in drug metabolism says that metabolizers can be divided into extensive metabolizers and poor metabolizers. for example, asians are fast acetylators (some how our acetyle transferase can work faster) compare to non-asians.

and our lecturer emphasized that "even if you're born in Malaysia, you must know that your origin is from asia. you know? chinese, indians. so you guys are considered as asians too!."



but no offence! she's a good teacher! she made us understand pharmacokinetics quite well!
